Our Association, Catholic Education Business Administrators Inc. (CEBA), has established a referral service for schools who have a need for temporary staff and for individuals offering their services as Business Administrators in a locum capacity.
Our database contains the names and contact details of individuals with previous experience in Catholic education who may be available for short term and relief work.
The Locum database is managed by members of the Executive Committee and if you are an interested employer or a potential locum you should contact CEBA to obtain more information about this service.
Members may obtain more information, including the names of persons listed on the register through the 'Members Area' section on this site.
Any person who requests to have their name on the CEBA register as a Locum Business Administrator must meet the following criteria:
They must have been a Business Administrator in a secondary College for at least three years.
They must have personally indicated that they are available for locum work.
They must have current police check.
They must provide CEBA with a Curriculum Vitae duly signed confirming its contents.
They must submit the names of two referees.
The register will be maintained by the chairperson of the Practice Management Sub-Committee and may be given to non-members on request.
The register will be kept on the CEBA web site, but only available for members to view.
All prospective employers shall carry out their own due diligence and any reference checks on any locum.
CEBA gives no guarantees whatsoever as to the fitness of any locum for a particular position. Use of the CEBA website by prospective employers is strictly on the basis that CEBA gives no representations, warranties or promises in regard to the history, character, age, capabilities or suitabilities of any locum for a particular position. Further CEBA will not be liable in anyway whatsoever for the actions of any locum.
